Anyway I made this in my brand new oven (oh my its amaze!!! so many features, so many lights and the racks are clean and sparkly and pull out with ease) and I am toasting it in my sandwich press as we don’t have a toaster at the minute. I borrowed the recipe from Petite Kitchen but tweaked it ever so slightly.
1 and 3/4 cup of peanut butter (I used the Mother Nature LSA peanut butter) – protein and fibre with LSA
2 ripe bananas
4 free range eggs – protein again
3 teaspoons maca powder – awesome for energy and can help with hormone health
2 teaspoons cinnamon – my fave and a blood sugar balancer
1 tsp baking soda
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
Place everything into the food processor and mix, or mix it by hand if you are old school.
Bake at 150 for 45 minutes.
Slice and eat warm with cacao nibs and coconut butter. Or keep the slices in the freezer for later use.
I made mine into a sandwich with lettuce and cheese…and possibly some more cinnamon and raisin peanut butter…
